How to post comments

Comments are welcome. I would like to hear what other folks think about battered, corroded, and otherwise road-worn coins. Too often, these items are shunned by the coin collecting community. Yet, these are the coins that lived a full life. Mint state coins rarely have much to say -- oh, and the vault was nice and warm!
Also, I am interested in how others view the collecting process. I believe that collecting is like art in that each of us are trying to create something. We are meaning-makers. Coins collected one by one and organized in a set have something to say. What are you trying to say?
Like many interactive threads, this blog offers readers a chance to bat these ideas around and start a discussion. Collecting can be a solitary activity, but it doesn't have to be. Still, most folks prefer to read and not write. For me, I have to write.

  1. The Necromancer gets back previously used and dropped coins when she heals and want to keep a steady collection of heal coins to bolster your coin collection.
